Spring break
I wanted to let my blog followers know that there will be a bigger break than usual because Merrill and I are head to the U.S. to visit family and friends. We are so blessed because Andy and Phyllis Anderson, who established the library, are back in Hungary for a couple of months and they will supervise the library while we are gone. We are a little sad in some ways because the past 3 days have been absolutely gorgeous with temperatures in the 70's and the days have become much longer. There are many flowers and trees blooming. It finally feels like spring. Other signs of spring include an increase in the number of tour buses and cruise boats at the boat docks along the Danube. The tourist area is much busier than it has been for several months. It makes evening strolls along the river a favorite activity, especially after a good latte machiotto and strudel, known as retes, here. My next post will probably be full of pictures! We are hoping to see some of you faithful readers while we are on our journey.
