To update my blog readers about our visa, we have no more information. We did turn in all of our paperwork the following day, July 31. There was one document that they told us was not current enough. To satisfy that requirement, Merrill went to the lawyer's office and requested a more current copy of the legal paper that they were requiring. We had 10 days in which to submit it. We were able to do that and so far, we have not had any more requests for information. We did talk with our expeditor and she had not received a call from the immigration bureau requesting more documents. We are to return on August 31 to hopefully, receive our visa and be told the duration of it. Sorry to keep everyone in suspense, but we have been on vacation and I will write about vacation very soon.
